Diss · We are seeking an experienced Cleaner to keep our workshops and MOT lane to a high level of cleanliness.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Cleaner to join our depot team. You will be responsible for maintaining our workshops and MOT lane to the highest standards through cleaning, whilst ensuring strict compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations. Working primarily during day shifts, you will be a key operational contact, managing daily depot activities and supporting the broader team to keep our services running smoothly.

What you'll do

  • Clean all engineering areas to company standards using approved equipment and substances, and clean depot sites and buildings as required
  • Compile and submit reports accurately and on time, including cleaning sheets
  • Report major incidents immediately to the local management team following correct procedures
  • Actively promote health and safety practices and take responsibility for site safety when required

What we're looking for

  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and listening skills, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Competent with reports, paperwork and record keeping
  • Organised approach with the ability to maintain positive relationships with colleagues
  • Willingness to take responsibility outside normal working hours to meet required standards
  • Full compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation
  • Previous cleaning experience in a transport or fleet environment
  • First aid or health and safety awareness certification
